The Product Advisory
Board Program is a valuable sales tool for our members to use. Members
will be able to keep up to date with all Yamaha products and learn how to
better promote, sell and demo products at your store. Our members will
also be able to participate in special sales promotions and enter
contests for great Yamaha products. After viewing our members’
comments throughout the past years, we noticed that more of you have been
requesting additional promotions and special offers from Yamaha. Our
engineers are always busy developing new and innovative products geared
by our members’ comments. By staying in touch with our consumers’
needs we will continue to provide the latest technologies to fill those
needs. With our members help we will continue to grow and develop the
best possible A/V products available.
We are proud of our
members' contributions and believe that this program has been one of our most
successful to date. With the continued upsurge of new products from vast
consumer electronic and computer manufacturers, we must always be aware
of consumers needs, and with the help from our members, we have been able
to accomplish this. Your expertise, opinions and suggestions that have
led to successful new product initiatives and significant product
improvements.

Why
We Started The Product Advisory Board
The
key to success in consumer electronics is to continually provide
new and better products, which are in tune with current consumer
trends and preferences. We found that our dealers’ sales associates
are our best link to our consumers, which is why the Product Advisory
Board program was started in 1994. The opinions and input provided
by our members continues to make a difference and has been immensely
helpful to us. Product Advisory Board members have influenced the
current line of A/V products our dealers are selling today. Yamaha
strongly believes that with your participation in the program, we
will all benefit with products just right for your current and future
customers.

How
The Product Advisory Board Works
For
the past nine years, we have sent out three surveys. We realize
that your time is valuable; as a result, this year we will have
only two surveys.
To
complete the survey just log on using your user ID and password.
After the surveys are completed and submitted, the results are tabulated
and reviewed. Yamaha then uses the results as a guide for our future
product planning activities. The information is then shared with
our Yamaha staff at our headquarters in Japan,
making our members’ comments top priority. Most of what is
learned from these surveys will become evident as new products are
introduced.

Participation
Participation
is open to all associates selling or installing Yamaha audio and
video products at authorized Yamaha dealers. Enrollment is quick
and easy. Contact your Yamaha sales representative for your Rep
ID, and then complete the online enrollment form. It’s that
simple! Please encourage your fellow associates to enroll by visiting
